Dental X-Ray Tube

Small 60 kV tungsten-target tube and Kodak fluorescent screen

Extreme danger: This project involves ionising radiation and lethal high voltage. It requires professional shielding, monitoring and legal compliance.

Introduction

I obtained a small X-ray tube rated for approximately 60 kV with a tungsten target, together with a Kodak 2000 fluorescent screen.

Once the X-ray system was made operational, I intended to add practical observations and measurement results.

First X-Ray Image
