Many years ago I became fascinated by one of the greatest mysteries — the universe. In 2007 I attended a local astronomy course at the Prostějov observatory and bought my first telescope. After a longer break, my interest returned thanks to modern smart telescopes and new possibilities in deep-sky astrophotography. Today I use the ZWO Seestar S30, an all-in-one smart telescope that makes stacked deep-sky imaging accessible even from light-polluted locations.

About my astronomy hobby

Many years ago I became fascinated by one of the greatest mysteries — the universe. In 2007 I attended a local astronomy course at the Prostějov observatory and bought my first telescope. After a longer break, my interest returned thanks to modern smart telescopes and new possibilities in deep-sky astrophotography. Today I use the ZWO Seestar S30, an all-in-one smart telescope that makes stacked deep-sky imaging accessible even from light-polluted locations.

The Seestar S30 combines a 30 mm apochromatic triplet, Sony IMX662 sensor, tracking, Wi-Fi, battery and automatic stacking in a compact device. Click the exposure/stack links in the gallery to download the available RAW stack archives.
